After 28 years of teaching, my mom is finally retiring! Our family is so proud of her successful career in elementary education. We are very much looking forward to see what she decides to do next- we know she isn't going to be a 'couch potato' retiree. To honor my mom the Sainte Genevieve school district held a retirement banquet with a nice dinner, presentation, awards, and best of all a "party" with the Faculty Band. My Grandma and Mom even cut a rug on the dance floor! We had a blast celebrating with my mom... you know it was a good time when the night ends with a midnight meal at the Huddle House!
