Disney did a great job on their zoological park- Emme LOVED it! This was where she saw the majority of the characters. She got so excited when she saw them- she would run right up to them and give them a great big hug... some of the characters like Pooh and Tigger, spun her around and danced with her. Others, like Chip and Dale bowed to her because she was dressed as a princess. Pocahontas talked with her and was really sweet... such good memories!
The most amusing part of the day was when Emmerson picked out a face painting- to everyone's surprise she chose a snake. And of course it had to be pink; they even added glitter to it. Bryan loved this park as well- he rode a huge roller coaster (I have to admit I wish I could have ridden it, too). We all went on a safari, which was my favorite part of the day. The rhino, giraffe and ostrich were SO close to us- at one point a giraffe was following our caravan! Animal Kingdom rocked- they even had "healthy" park snacks like the all natural strawberry popsicles with actual fruit chunks in them! Gotta love it!
