2 month catch up

THE BOYS ARE ALREADY 3 MONTHS OLD!!! Where has time gone???

It may not come to a surprise to the few friends and family that view my blog that we have been very BUSY! So we have some catching up to do on this blog and for once... I'm just gonna let it slide. I will try and get some updated pics on here soon, but for now- reading text will have to do.

The boys are getting SO BIG! They are both pushing 14 pounds and are reaching all of their milestones with flying colors. They are over the 50th percentile for singletons, so being twins they are true rockstars! These last few weeks have been filled with precious baby giggles, laughs and coos. Both boys are little heart breakers and we are so blessed. Our home is filled with a new kind of indescribable joy and we are having a blast. Emme has been great with the twins- she just loves them a little "too" much at times. Emme started back to preschool and is adjusting to 4 days/week versus her old schedule of 3 days/week at school. The boys also started daycare which is conveniently attached to the preschool. They are doing great- there are "mom" and "grandmas" staffed to take care of them and so far things have gone wonderfully. A true blessing because I had mom guilt considering Emme never had to go to daycare.

Cloth diapers are working out really well, too. I have managed to get in a washing routine and I feel so good putting that high quality soft cotton on their bottoms everyday instead of the rough chemical disposables. And I LOVE the fun colors the diapers come in- it's like an accessory to their daily outfits! We are still rocking the breastfeeding as well. They have only had mommy's milk and the way things are going it looks like we can keep this up for awhile. I'm so excited all of my hard work maintaining an abundant milk supply is paying off... the boys are growing 3 lbs a month so I know they are getting the nutrients they need. It's so satisfying.

Bryan and I are both keeping busy with work. I had a smooth transition back to the hospital. I am awaiting the "start date" on my big girl job. Keeping my fingers crossed it comes my way soon! I have also managed to get back to running. I'm up to 5 miles and it's going great.... I even signed up for a few races this fall. Yippee! It's so nice to not be pregnant and to not be in school and to feel "normal" again. It has been amazing spending so much time with my family. These are such happy times and I am grateful everyday for the blessings in my life. LIFE IS GOOD!
