Sometimes you need a little break

Wow- it's been almost three months since I last logged into my blog! For those of you who continue to check in I am sorry for my lack of pictures and updates. I guess I just needed a break. Kind of like this week I needed a break from washing cloth diapers. After 6 months and 2 weeks of cloth diapering twins I just needed a week of disposables. I guess the same goes for the blog... it has been the last thing on my mind. What makes me sad is that I kept up so well when Emme was an infant and was able to record so many wonderful memories. The amount of extra time it takes to run a family with 3 kids has surprised me and little things, like the family blog, are what have gotten left in the dust. My free time is usually spent watching tv while I pump in the evenings. So in other words... not much free time. I struggle to get in 1-2 measely runs each week. But I am thankful for that because it helps keep me sane. As busy as life is for our family right now, I am savoring each moment and enjoying each day of chaos. The twins are already 6 months and I am cherishing the time I get to spend with them.... Emme is almost 4 now so I understand all too well just how quickly they grow. Big sissy is getting more and more independant and we are so proud of her, so having the boys to snuggle and make us feel so so so needed it a nice balance. Bryan and I know we will one day get our "me" time back. For now we are enjoying our "baby" time. Some days more than others :) Lol. I hope to resume blogging again someday and providing updates and pictures of our growing family, but for now my priorities are small, but mean everything and I am not willing to miss too many moments for things like "keeping up with a blog". I know you all understand. Please continue to check in every now and then- I just might surprise you with an update!
