Flying By

It's been a busy month... or couple of months as evidenced by my lack of content and detail in my blog. Now is the perfect chance to fill everyone in on what us Browne's have been up to. Emme has come down with a cold and hit the sack by 7pm tonight- I have no idea what to do with all this extra time this evening! Perfect chance to write down some memories so I can remember them 2 years from now when I finally get a chance to scrapbook the events of October 2010. (I'm always behind, but getting really behind these days).
Anyways, October started out with a fun day at Eckarts. The pics previously posted don't do the day justice... Emme is always such a joy to be around- she adds spark and purpose to mine and Bryan's life. We just can't get enough of it. After a long morning at the pumpkin patch, we headed downtown to the Taste of St. Louis. This was the 2nd time Bryan and I have attended, but Miss Emme's first. The food was good, we all found something super yummy. Emme devoured some mac 'n cheese and Bryan took total advantage of the variety of sliders available. There was even a 'kid zone' where Emme enjoyed some music, dancing, a petting zoo and other kiddy fun things. The event has grown so much the last 2 years, we made it around to everything except the wine tasting section. I guess we will have to make it a point to go back next year!
Our fun family weekend preceded another wild and crazy week of juggling school, family, and life- gotta love it! Then before we knew it, we landed ourselves another fabulous family weekend! This past Friday I met Emme and Bryan at our friends' wedding in St. Charles after a day at clinicals downtown. Stacey and Fuzz fianlly tied the knot! It was good to see so many friends and some family over delicious food and some great dancing! I squeezed in a good run on Saturday before we headed to another wedding- Nicki and Brenndan's celebration was in Ste. Genevieve and a really good time. There were TONS of kids for Emmerson to play with- speaking of, Emme has proven to be quite the dancer! She has a natural rhythm and love for a good beat:)
As if all that wasn't enough, Sunday was just as busy- starting out with family photos in the backyard. Kenzie was nice enough to come over and snap pics of the great grandparents, grandparents, Uncle Aaron, us and the little princess. I can't wait to see how they turned out! I'm sure they will be great-Kenzie does a fantabulous job. So after pics we headed over to our friend, Deeder's house so Bryan could enjoy some 'guy time' which translates to football time. Every Sunday is either spent at the Ram's game in StL or at Deeders in his basement, watching some kind of DISH super football package the guys all pitched in on so they can watch like 8 games at once. It's so overwhelming, I'm not sure how they watch it. There is too much going on at once. So instead of trying to get into the football thing, Emme and I went on a hayride at Lake Forest with the other kids and 'football' moms. It was a pretty good day- great weather and quality time with great people. We are so lucky!
Then Monday came again (as it tends to do)... in all honesty, I don't mind Mondays. They end with Emme's gymnastics class which I just LOVE taking her to. Yesterday she was a little out of sorts because I think she started to not feel so well. But she hung in there like a champ. Bryan went out with the other 'gym dads' after wards to enjoy Monday night football at Buffalo Wild Wings, while us girls headed home to get some beauty rest. Some much needed beauty rest:)
I guess my rambling is done... if you have held on through my rendition of our "October" encounters, thank you. Hopefully I will have some new pics to post soon! Have a great week!
