Emme and I accompanied my mom and dad to see the Marine Corp Silent Drill Platoon today! This has been a very special week for St. Louis because we proudly hosted the 3rd annual Marine Week! The only thing that could have made the whole experience better is if Steve was home to celebrate with us. It was so exciting to see the sworms of people there to support the USMC and even better, to see all of the Marines walking around! We are a very lucky country to be protected by such brave men and women! Semper Fi!

Legally Blonde and Marine Week
Every week feels like it just keeps getting better than the last one! This week was monumental in that I started my new position in the Float Pool! It was also very special because it kicked off the summer season at the Muny! The best part about the Muny this summer is that my second favorite musical, Legally Blonde was the first to show. Mom, Grandma and I enjoyed a picnic... Jimmy John's and wine and then thoroughly enjoyed the performance. It was not quite as good as it is on Broadway, but the Muny put on an excellent show. Next Wednesday is Kiss Me Kate, and the following will be Emmerson's first show, The Little Mermaid! Can't wait!
