Things are changing so quickly in our house I just have to find a way to jot down all of these memories before they pass and are forgotten as the next crazy things happens. Currently Emmerson has been trying to dodge bedtime. She usually manages to stay up about an hour later than she used to and her tactics are getting more and more creative. So last night she pushed her limit... She has been potty trained for almost a year, but still has to where pull ups when she sleeps- she is the soundest sleeper I know. Tonight was night #3 of wearing "training pants" to try and get her to feel the wetness and hopefully wake up. Needless to say it hasn't been working, but we are trying it for a week in hopes that it will eventually. If not, back to pullups. Anyways, just after Bryan finished the bedtime routine and Emme was tucked into bed, she came walking down the stairs saying she was wet... And ADMITTED to doing it on purpose so she could stay up later! So she earned herself a bath and another 30 minutes- She thinks she is so smart. Grrrrr.
The other two little babes had their own story today while I was trying to sleep! So far I have been lucky to get good rest with my nocturnal work schedule; however, today the little bits both decided to start doing some major rolly polly-ing around. They were rolling so much that it literally woke me up from a dead sleep and was actually pretty uncomfortable, but very very cool at the same time. For some reason it made me tear up and get all emotional. These boys are such a blessing and as much as I wanted to sleep, I wouldn't have traded their wrestling match in for anything. As they keep growing, I have a feeling my belly is in for quite the adventure!
