Announcing Their Arrival

We proudly welcome with love Lincoln Thomas and Jackson Nelson into our little family. Two days prior to the scheduled induction, my water broke and 6 hours later Lincoln Thomas came into this world on May 20th at 12:16 am weighing 6 lbs 5 oz and 20 1/4 inches long. Jackson Nelson followed 7 minutes later at 12:23 weighing 7 lbs 3 oz and 19 1/4 inches long. Labor was short and sweet- it was an answered prayer that I did not have to have a cesarean section. The boys came out super healthy with apgars of 9 and we couldn't be more blessed! Our family of 5 feels very complete! The hospital stay was also short and sweet and we had a surplus of visitors- all company meant so much to us. We are fortunate to have plenty of love and support in our lives and we are very thankful. Linc and Jack are already loved tremendously.... especially by their big sis who cannot get enough of them! Emmerson has stepped up to the big sister role with grace and enthusiasm and has handled the new additions to the family far better than I could have every imagined. She is a wonderful daughter and the twins are so lucky to have such a good big sister!
