Happy Father's Day
Bryan had a very enjoyable first Father's Day. He woke up to Emmerson giving him his gifts: she got him an Underarmer Mizzou polo, a mousepad with a picture of her in his Cardinal's jersey on it and two new framed pictures for him to put in his office! He loved all of it. Then he headed up to his grandparents to help BBQ, while I cleaned up the house and got myself and Emme ready to go. The afternoon was spent chillin with Bryan's family up in Afton and the boys were, of course, watching the Nascar race. Then we headed back to Sainte Genevieve to spend some time with my dad, who had spent the day at the boat races over at Creve Coeur Lake. It was very nice to have so much family to spend the day with. Bryan deserves to have his own day... he is an amazing Daddy and does a lot more than what most Father's do. When I work, he literally gets the baby up, baths her, feeds her, packs the diaper bag and gets her to the sitter all on his own. This past Saturday he packed her up and took her to the boat races for the day while I worked! He is so comfortable and natural at being a Daddy and I love him sooo much for it! Emmerson is one lucky little girl.
