Hippity Hoppity... A Very Happy Easter Weekend

Our Easter weekend was packed full of fun! Friday Bryan and I celebrated my hospital doing well in our Joint Commission survey with a date night. It started at Sasha's where some co-workers went for a few celebratory drinks. Then we enjoyed 5 awesome sushi rolls at Drunken Fish (I have been craving sushi, so it was a great treat.
Saturday we tried out Bryan's new grill and had our brothers and parents over. Bryan went over board on the ribs and make 6 slabs... but everyone loved them! I enjoyed my grilled asparagus:)
When in doubt... just put your thumb in your mouth. It makes everything A-OK!
The best part about Saturday was hanging out with beautiful baby Carly and Stacy! Emme loved Carly. (below she is actually giving the binky back, not taking it). She is ready for a little sis or bro! haha, just kidding.

Easter Sunday started at our house with a silly little girl acting like a bunny. The Easter Bunny treated her with a basket full of books, side walk chalk and other small toys... she loved it!In her Easter Sunday best! Gotta love Janie and Jack.Taking a break from the egg hunt... she literally just sat down for a few minutes acting like it was so exhausting! ha!Emmerson's favorite new "surprised face"... she opened each egg she picked up, one at a time... it was a long process, but she LOVED the fact there were cookies in all of the eggs!

After spending the early part of the afternoon with the loud Brownes, we headed over to my Grandma's house for some more family time and another Easter egg hunt! It was a fun, busy day and as always, it is so great to spend time with our family. We are so blessed!
