To get in the spirit of Mardi Gras, we kicked off the morning with a 5k in Soulard. Bryan sat the race out, but Chris, Jill and I worked up a sweat. I have to admit that it was fun to run a race wearing a boa:) After the race and a few cups of coffee at the Benton Park Cafe, we explored Soulards best restaurants at the Taste of Soulard. We had some amazing food, but my favorite was the flourless peanut butter- chocolate cookie... I gotta have my sweets! We rode on a few trolleys and sipped on some fun drinks. It was a fun day in Soulard!
