Easter 2012 should be nicknamed "The Ultimate Egg Hunt" because that is exactly what Emmerson spent two days doing. Saturday was brunch at my moms, so of course the Easter Bunny visited. Then Sunday we first spent time with Bryan's family in Afton before heading to my family gathering in Ballwin.... and, yes, the Easter Bunny also showed up to both of those places! Being the only grandchild on both sides has its perks I guess... she had three Easter Egg hunts and racked up a ridiculous amount of eggs (80+). Many thanks to the egg stuffers for mainly sticking to hair clips, bows, toys, money and minimal candy:)
Emme loved Easter mainly because of the fun family time. She couldn't get enough play time in with her cousins Christina and Samantha- it was funny to watch her boss around 17 year olds, but they handled her well. I tried to talk to Emme about the true meaning of Easter but I don't think she got it. Maybe next year:)
