Dirty Laundry

It's amazing how such a small person can add so much laundry to what used to be our "normal" amount... Emme has blessed us with multiple surprises of peeing on us and her clothes while changing her diaper as well as a couple vomiting episodes post feeding, which ironically all happen while Bryan is holding her, so his clothes get messed as well. She has even managed to pee all over our bed which creates an insane clean up because of the duvee and down comforter, not to mention the pillow topper on the mattress!
This weekend... on Valentine's Day, she decided to let me know just how much she loves me. Before I explain how she did that, I should let everyone know that Princess Emmerson is not the dainty princess we all envisioned her to be. She burps LOUD and often... when she poops, you can hear it from the next room and her farts sound like they are coming out of a 50 year old man who just drank a 6 pack... or maybe even a 12 pack. We have caught her snoring a few times and does not seem to mind vomiting on herself... most people would be upset, but baby Emme doesn't care at all! Better out than in they say!
So to show me she loves me, she managed to come up with the most disgusting and biggest dirty laundry fiasco yet! While I was changing her cute little diaper and trying to be careful since I had already learned the hard way (so I thought), she let out a little toot... no big deal, I cleaned her up some more and grabbed a new diaper; this happened twice, by the way. Apparently she was just getting started because then, projectile style, she shot poo straight out of her cute little bottom all over her new diaper, her changing pad, the bedding, my leg, my pants, EVERYWHERE! And of course it got on her clothes and swaddle blanket, too. It was so gross, but managed to be funny at the same time. At least all of the stains came out! Although this event was by far the most dirty and disgusting occurrence of the day, she was relentless in creating dirty laundry the entire day. While we were at Bryan's grandparent's house visiting his family from Texas, she managed to vomit on Bryan, poop out of her diaper and go through all 3 outfits I brought for her!
I know I will eventually get used to all of this mess and bodily ew and goo. For now I am just doing laundry and going through shout like it's water! Welcome to motherhood, Kim!
