MIZ- - - ZOU!!!

Labor day weekend has been so out of the norm for us this year... it is the first holiday weekend we haven't gone to the lake since we have been together and the reason why is the Arch Rivalry game: Mizzou versus Illinois. Bryan just couldn't pass this one up. 4 other couples and us took off early Saturday day morning, in the lovely grayness of the overcast and drizzly morning, to tailgate at the dome. I had wanted to take Emmerson so badly, but am glad she stayed with my Mom for the day; the crowd was pretty rowdy, the weather was gross and it was very crowded. We had a good time throwing a few back and eating some BBQ; RJ and a few of our friends enjoyed his Jagermeister cooler. It has a built in shot dispenser.... no thank you!!!I would like to say the game was super exciting, but we killed the Illini to the point where it got kind of boring, BUT we WON!!! So it really doesn't matter how exciting or non-exciting the game was, we once again have rivalry bragging rights. Which we have had for like the last 110 years! Not kidding. This should be another exciting year for the Tigers!
