Tutus and Magic

Sunday morning started bright and early with a wide-eyed toddler playing dress up and pick-on-Daddy. Emme was a little ball of sunshine this morning which always makes the weekends so very delightful. I feel so lucky to have two precious days a week knowing I will wake up to her smiling face...Her smile is wonderfully contagious. As if her bubbly cheeks and little chuckle aren't enough, she has 6 tiny teeth and there is a gap between her two top teeth that make it impossible to not do anything but melt at the site of her little grin. She twirled in her tutu over and over and then thought it was so funny to pick on Daddy with his head massager. Then she got picked on in return and it made us laugh because every time Bryan put the massager on her head, she made the silliest face. We stayed entertained all morning by the meer fact that the fun was at the expense of 1 out of the 3 of us at all times. Friday after I got off of work, I met Emme and Bryan in Kirkwood to enjoy an evening at the Magic House. Emme had gotten a membership for Christmas and this was our first time using it... and she LOVED it. I haven't been there since I was a child and it is HUGE now. We had such a good time watching Emme explore things like the air blower that had floating balls above it. She moved so fast throughout the entire place because something new and exciting kept grabbing her attention. Her favorite was the library and the grocery store... I can't wait to go back!Bryan has just as much fun as Emme... he found a car to work on. He changed the tires and did some routine maintenance under the hood. He's nothing but a BIG kid!Hillarious!Emmerson really enjoyed the water display for toddlers. Once she got warmed up to the idea of playing in water with a smock on (she DID NOT like the smock), she was all over the place:)

Taking a breather on the musical seats. Each seat makes music when you sit on it, Bryan was on the string seat and Emme was on the brass seat... the music was beautiful- Can you tell by their faces that they thought so, too?

It was a fabulous weekend with a lot of family time. While I worked in the ICU on Saturday morning, Bryan and Emme went to Madden's 2nd birthday party early afternoon where there was a bouncy house! I showed up late to pick up Emme because Bryan was going to Trey's birthday party in Bonne Terre, so I got to take full advantage of the fun that the bouncy house had to offer. Emme and I had so much fun jumping and bouncing... she has been in the bouncing mood ever since! Every bed in our house has been completed bounced out! Saturday evening we hung out with my Mom and I got some scrapbooking done for Emmerson's baby album. I must be in the scrapping mood because we spent most of Sunday at my Mom's as well. I only have 3 more pages, then Emme's baby album will be complete! I'm sooo excited to show it off!
Hope everyone had as great of a weekend as we did!
