Princess Emme at 9 Weeks

Emmerson is now starting to drool, looking at and reaching for toys, is interested in rattles and strange noises and growing out of her 3-6 month clothes! ALREADY! I feel like we just brought her home from the hospital in her precious newborn clothes... well that was 9 weeks ago now. It is absolutely amazing how quickly she has grown and developed in such a short time. Bryan and I both enjoy watching her reach these milestones in her learning and development... she gets more fun and sweeter every day!

Yesterday I went back to work for a low key day of mandatory computer education and Bryan attempted to work and take care of the little one at the same time. Snaps to him for doing a great job! He is such a good Daddy... Emmerson is a very lucky little girl! I did okay being away at work. It was sooo nice to be back and feel missed, but when I thought of Emme I got very sad that I wasn't going to be able to spend every waking moment with her anymore. The good thing about my job is that I do get 2 full days of Emme-time in during the week since I only work 3 twelve hour shifts. I go back to the bedside on Monday and am looking forward to taking care of patients again. I haven't been able to do much of that this last year, so I'm sure I will have a lot of skills to brush up on! FUN FUN!
