This weekend was the ultimate Mother-Daughter weekend... Bryan was at the Lake of the Ozarks for a bachelor party, so Emmerson and I took total advantage of the all girl situation:)
Friday I got in hours and hours of studying for a big exam I had coming up while Emme played at her Grandma and Grandpa's house. Saturday morning started bright and early with Emmerson's first Big Girl Bath! She has officially graduated from her little tub to the big tub! So we celebrated with a bubble bath... she loved it. Emme has absolutely no fear of the water.
Emmerson enjoyed her bath time with all sort of her friends (aka her bath toys)....
After Emme was all clean, we headed to South County Mall to meet the Easter Bunny! I was so proud of Emme because she did not cry, she was more curious than anything about who's lap she was sitting on. It was hard to get her to look away from the bunny and at the camera, but we ended up getting a cute pic. Then we drove to Forest Park to enjoy a nice relaxing run with Lauren and then lunch at the Boathouse. It was fun, but a little colder than we had anticipated- boo to Saint Louis weather! We are sooo ready for warmth and sunshine!
After running errands all afternoon and visiting Great Grandma Nelson, we headed home to spend the rest of the weekend relaxing and playing.
