Emme visited her first real salon Saturday morning- such a milestone in a little girl's life! Debbie at Le Technique's (where I have been going for years) gave Emmerson her first haircut! The mullet is officially gone... and her hair already looks thicker and healthier. The trim was long overdue, but I just couldn't bring myself to cut off any of that precious baby hair. Emme did a good job sitting in the big chair-she got a little restless about half way through, but it was quick... not much to cut:)

Marissa and Sophia had a great time letting Emme wear some of Marissa's jewelry... Emme knows exactly what to do with bangles and rings... she has been getting her accessory lessons very early in life! Below she is showing off her bling to everyone at the party. She such a girly girl already:)
We had a wonderful weekend with a lot of family time, already looking forward to our next full of summer fun!
Sunday's main event was a super fun 6 year old birthday party in Des Peres. Bryan's cousin, Sophia, had a pool party with tons of family and a lot of amazing food... so jealous of summer birthdays! One of the things I love most about the Browne family is that every time they get together, it is a guarantee there will be delicious food- and a lot of it! Dessert was yummy, too. Apparently every year, Sophia's Aunt Stephanie makes a "crispy creation" which is a huge rice krispy treat that is shaped like something that goes with her annual pool themed party. It is a surprise and everyone takes a guess at what the "crispy creation" is before it is unveiled! This year it was a bikini-super cute.
