This is a little late getting posted, but after thinking about what a good time Bryan and I had spending the day together, I just had to share it with everyone. 2 weekends ago Bryan and I took the saturday off as mommy and daddy and went to the wineries and microbreweries in Sainte Genevieve to enjoy some married time alone. Emmerson enjoyed her afternoon and evening with her Grandma. Our first stop was Charleville where we ran into some of my co-workers and had a few drinks. I had a glass of the stout beer, which was amazing! It's got that coffee flavor and smoothness that I love in a nice dark stout brew. Then the two of us headed over the new Crowne Distillery and Brew House and I did a sampling tray. There were quite a few beers I liked, but my favorite was their apple cider beer... AMAZING! It definately beats Woodchuck and Hornsby's in taste and smoothness. Needless to say, Bryan and I had a great relaxing time together and it was nice not to be the pregnant girl that always had to drive :)
Then that evening we ended up at the Midway for Trey's 27th birthday! A lot of our friends were there and it was nice to see Trey's parents... AND the band that played at our wedding played, so it was a good time.
