All Legs...

Emmerson keeps surprising us by effortlessly reaching these huge milestones while Bryan and I are still trying to get used to the last one. Last week she crawled her happy little rump over to her toy basket in the living room and pulled her self up onto her knees to get some toys out. As if this didn't surprise me enough, she then proceeded to pull herself up into a standing position!

It is so cute when she scoots her tiny little self around. She is getting stronger and stronger and can pull herself up on just about anything. She tries to stand up without grabbing onto something sometimes and it's hilarious because she gets her legs upright and straight, but her arms, head, and torso are leaning forward and she just kind of rocks around and stays like that until she gets tired.
Emme is just so delightful and makes every day a good one. I honestly can say there isn't such thing as a "bad day" anymore since our family has become more complete... the 3 of us are so happy and are so silly in love with each other!

This week Emme has mastered pulling herself up and can climb up just about anything.... even Louie! Louie doesn't seem to like that much though and has been doing a pretty good job at staying away from her. Things are constantly changing, faster than Bryan and I can keep up. Bryan put the baby gates up on Monday and our cabinets are now child proofed. Now I just need to make my way around the house and plug in all of the outlet covers. Our beautiful rock fireplace has quilts all over it to cushion our little monkeys falls... I don't know what will be next, but I'm sure it will happen before I'm ready!
