Bows, Bows and more Bows

Emme was bright and cheery before we headed into Sainte Geneviee and LOVED the new vibrating teething toy Grandma had at her house!Mom, Emme and I did a good job getting a headstart on the heat today and made it into Sainte Genevieve pretty early for Jour de Fete. Especially since the poker tournament at our house went well into morning hours last night. Emme didn't let the heat stop her from taking a nap through all the excitement and noise...

Jour de Fete just isn't what it used to be. Every year it seems smaller and smaller, but it is always nice to run into familiar faces and catch up with people you don't see very often. We were in and out in less than 4 hours. Mom ended up buying a gorgeous coral necklace and between her and I, I think Emmerson got like 20 new bows.... not exaggerating.

When we got back to my mom's we let Emme play with her new bows... some ended up in her mouth, others ended up all over her head!
