Christmas came quickly this year.... thank God I did not have to work last Wednesday. We spent the day putting up our tree, baking cookies and wrapping gifts. I know the day before Christmas Eve isn't the usual day to put up your tree and decorate for the holidays, but it was actually a nice change in pace considering we usually have the tree up by the end of November. It really got us into the Christmas spirit at Christmastime.
Doing a "no, no".
She loved her new ladybug book!
Emmerson's first stocking!
How cool is this roller coaster... 10 feet of fun. I can't wait to try it out!!!
Christmas Eve morning the 3 of us headed over to my parents house for brunch and our family Christmas. Emme was the center of attention, of course, and received so many wonderful gifts including a roller coaster, bike with a steering wheel, books, clothes, etc.... too many things to list. And she loved my mom's egg strata.
Emmerson enjoying her eggs and waving. She can now wave and say "hi" to people.... she likes to show off and says "hi" to everyone she sees... even the dogs. She can say "dog" now, too!
Doesn't she look like a ballerina striking a pose? Look at the elegance of those fingers! hahahaha.

Emmerson and her pile of presents. I was so tired at this point I don't have as many pictures as earlier in the day, but she had so much fun opening all of her gifts!
Emmerson was a pretty good trooper when is came time to leave and go to the Jackson Family Christmas (Bryan's Mom's family). This side of the family is HUGE, 45 people to be exact, 14 of which are young children. It was a little chaotic and busy and Emmerson got tired in the middle of all of it, but she hung in there and ended up having a good time. She was spoiled, again, and got some clothes, baby dolls (which she just loves), DVDs, and a membership to the Magic House. I can't wait to use that, I haven't been to the Magic House since it has been added on to and made 5 times as big as it was when I was younger!
After the family left, we enjoyed our Browne family Christmas. Emmerson got soooo many toys and a really cool version of the Night Before Christmas where her Great Grandpa Jack, and Grandma and Grandpa Browne recorded themselves reading the book... it is such a neat gift. Santa brought her a few pairs of super cute overalls and a couple more bikes, one is a rocket and one is a giraffe.
So many gifts and only halfway finished with Christmas. 3 down and 3 to go on Christmas Day!!!
