Emme met Santa for the first time at Frontenac Plaza... they have the best Santa and the best display. She was ok for the first 2 minutes, just a little sleepy, then the fear set in. This was the first time she has had a fear of a stranger. I guess the beard and big red suit can be pretty scary... and for some reason, parents just love to give their little one to this scary man and expect their child to smile and be happy about it. Hopefully she does better next year. It was fun though!
We enjoyed dinner, lights, and Christmas activities at Our Lady of the Snows shrine in Belleville, Illinois after the Santa pictures. Emmerson went down a slide for the first time in the Children's Activity center and she got to enjoy the petting zoo with her Daddy! Bryan LOVES pettying zoos. Emme was all bundled up and didn't do much but look.

mj hates santa too :) can't believe how much emmerson is growing...love the little shirt with the red bow- she looks like such a big girl!! happy bday late!!!
