Saturday started out with celebrating my mom and Steve's shared birthday at my parents house. We all hung out for a few hours and enjoyed some delicious chili for lunch... then dug into a really yummy chocolate cake!
Emme, Bryan and I headed to Saint Charles a little later to go to Bryan's uncles surprise party. We enjoyed some family time and had a blast watching Emmerson play with her cousins. She is so curious about other babies and tries to grab them and pet them and stick her fingers in their mouths. The older babies didn't like that too much, but the kiddos about the same age as Emmerson were just as curious and they played really well together. It was adorable to watch:)
Then Bryan and I headed over to Harrah's to celebrate his 28th birthday! He played some Black Jack unsuccessfully and then did pretty well at Roulette. After a few hours of gambling, we took a break and enjoyed a few drinks at the bar. We had a really good time, but I decided I strongly dislike the whole gambling thing... I just don't get it. We enjoyed a quiet night away from home at a nearby hotel and got to sleep in on Sunday!!! Bryan went to the Ram's game and I headed home to hang out with Emmerson all day! It was was super great weekend.

I am so with you on the gambling thing- maybe I would feel differently if I would win once in a while, ha! Tell Bryan "Happy Birthday" and we hope you have a wonderful Christmas. I can't wait to see pictures!
