working with the last 6 months. It was nice and low key at my director's club house which was decorated beautifully for Christmas and had a great fireplace! The food was amazing and it was nice to get to know everyone's spouses. We played some fun games with the gifts we brought and everyone really enjoyed Beth's cocktails. ve loved getting to know all of these people and how much I will miss making candy wrapper chains in meetings and having our daily lunch venting sessions. I have learned a lot from this group of people about management and what it takes to be a good leader in the workplace. As great of an experience as it has been I am glad to be going back to the bedside to take care of patients again... I know it is where I belong right now, belly and all I will be hobbling around the MICU tomorrow trying to survive the 12 hours days that I have completely grown unaccustomed to.... wish me luck!

kim- the pink and green stripes on the walls of the nursery are ADORABLE!! i am so impressed...that is a lot of work, esp for a pregnant lady. can't wait to see the whole room. also, hope your first day back at the bedside went great!
