Week 34 has been a pretty interesting week already.
Emmerson is about the size of a cantaloupe and is almost 18 inches long. Her fat layers — which she'll need to regulate her body temperature once she's born — are filling her out, making her rounder. Her skin is also smoother than ever. Her central nervous system is maturing and her lungs are continuing to mature as well.

Our OB appointment on Thursday went well and Emme and I are both looking nice and healthy. I am getting used to the extra soft tissue she is causing me to gain because I know it is keeping her healthy... 5 more weeks and the diet begins!
Saturday Bryan and I finished our Childbirth classes and passed! We got a certifacte saying we graduated and everything. It was a great learning experience and it has definately preparted me for the labor and delivery that are in our near future.
We also have been working hard on the nursery... it is coming along VERY slowly, but surely. I finally finished the paint job as you can see in the background of my belly shot above. The pink and green stripes are the shades I picked out from the bedding. Hopefully I will be posting pictures of the finished nursery soon enough!
