"Have a Six Flags Day"

On Thursday Bryan and I got to re-experience what it's like to be 14 again... meaning we spent the day at Six Flags without Emmerson and with a bunch of little kids. But don't worry, we fit right in with them. Bryan had to literally hold me back from running to the first roller coaster. (He just isn't one for running... haha). I just LOVE Six Flags and amusement parks in general. It had been 3 years since I have been to Six Flags and even longer for Bryan so we were pumped to go "play" all day.
We got to the park by 10:30 and rode all the rides we could handle until our stomach rumbling got the best of us. Then we managed to find a restaurant that sold the largest basket of waffle fries you could ever imagine. I ate my heart out and you couldn't tell any were gone! The second best thing, beside the rides, at amusement parks is all the junk food! Later in the day we enjoyed those HUGE ice creams from the waffle cone place.. YUMMY! I ate all 4 scoops of mint chocolate "real" ice cream without even thinking twice. I figured I had burned the calories off by skipping around the park all day like a 5 year old!
The water park was probably the highlight of the day. It was Bryan's first time so we were sure to ride all the water slides... except the tornado because the line was forever long. Thursday was a great day to enjoy the park because there was no one there. We didn't wait in line for more than 10 minutes, except for Thunder River where the line is always long. I guess it's so you have plenty of time to think about how wet you are about to get. Bryan's luck rubbed off on us because we managed to get like 10 times wetter than anyone else. It was a fun day to relive the memories of being at Six Flags. There were a lot of new rides and it was fun to share our memories of being there when we were younger. I hope Emme grows up to love Six Flags like we do!
As if exhausting hours at Six Flags, where every employee told us to "Have a Six Flags Day" (can I say ANNOYING?), we decided to see The Hangover movie on our way home.... it was HILLARIOUS! Probably the funniest movie I have seen in a long time. For those of you that know what I'm talking about.. I'm still laughing at Alan... hahahahha!
