Meet Me Saint Louie, Louie.... Meet Me at the Fair!

Last night my Mom, myself and my Aunt Ann enjoyed a wonderful evening in Forest Park.

It was my Mom's first evening at the Muny this season since she had her hip replaced and she was so excited to be back.

(speaking of her hip, it's only been 5 weeks and she is already walking a mile a day!)

We started the evening by enjoyed a few glasses of white wine and some yummy dinner at the Boathouse restaurant right by the Muny. We sat outside and enjoyed the sun and each other's company for a couple hours before the show started. Then we were treated with a complimentary golf cart ride from the restaurant to the show, which was nice. Meet Me In St. Louis is a classic theatrical performance that I look forward to every time it comes to the Muny. Growing up, the movie was one of my favorites (second to Dirty Dancing of course) that I could watch over and over again and sing along to the songs over and over again. The show last night was amazing. The little girl playing Tootie was so cute and talented. And not only was the show great, the weather was nice to us as well... which is always a legitimate concern when going to the Muny! I am already looking forward to seeing Godspell next Wednesday!
