I am so glad Bryan and I decided to take the day off of work to enjoy a day of just Emme. We had a lot of quality time together. After the carpet cleaner and cleaning lady did their thing all morning, we were off to have Emmerson's first birthday pics taken. (notice the black-eye she was lucky enough to obtain the the week of her birthday... good timing for her first shiner!) The pics turned out really cute, but I can't copy them on the blog b/c of the copyright. We had pics taken of her with a huge cupcake I made... she got nice and messy. Then we stopped by The Purple Cow and she made out like a bandit before we went home to play, play, and play some more. The only thing we did besides hang out with Emme is get ready for her big birthday bash the next day!
