Kicking off October with a bang...

October,
in my opinion, is the most beautiful month here in Missouri... the weather is getting cooler, Mother Nature turns everything a beautiful red, orange, or yellow, and mine and Bryan's one year anniversary is coming up this month!
Last weekend we kicked off my favorite month with another wedding. Elisha and Tyson are high school classmates of mine and finally, after like 9 years, tied the knot! Between the ceremony and the reception, some friends and I took advantage of the absolutely amazing weather and enjoyed an afternoon at the wineries in Sainte Genevieve...
It was a beautiful day and a beautiful wedding!

Two of my best friends, Kim and Jaime showing some love... maybe a little wine induced love???

The Saint Genevieve Girls of 2002.... all grown up!
Me and Elisha.... looking fabulous!

Then on Sunday, Bryan and I ventured up to the city and went to the Taste of Saint Louis and the Rams game. The Taste was really cool... there were tons of vendors and we really enjoyed sampling what all of Saint Louis' best restaurants had to offer. It was the perfect place for a pregnant girl to have lunch and everyone knows Bryan was probably in heaven, too. We also took time to tour the Soldier's Memorial, which was so interesting. Then off to the Rams game to hang out with the Saint Louis University Hospital administration! It was a good time, even though they lost the game.

This past week flew by, Bryan was busy moving offices with Aaron, I was working and studying for my pathophysiology exam and some big changes were going on with my family... before I knew it I was out for the count yesterday with a pretty bad cold. Of course I get sick over one of the most gorgeous October weekends, EVER! But it's ok because my amazing husband suprised me with some beautiful pink gerber daisies today to help brighten my mood and make me feel better. He has been taking care of me all day (and you know what they say about nurses being the worst patients.... it's true), Bryan is a total saint (sometimes)... ha ha. He is wonderful and I am so lucky to have him around every day!
