My Suprise Baby Party

Yesterday, the managers I have been working with the last 4 months suprised me with a baby shower! It was great because I don't get suprised easily and I can honestly say I was shocked.

We were at our normal Monday meeting and one of my co-workers announced it was her birthday and she was excited to open gifts and eat some cake! I had noticed a few gifts being brought in, but I think I was feeling so bad for not knowing it was her birthday that I didn't realize they were all wrapped in pastels... kind of a dead give away, but not for this girl.
I didn't realize the gifts were for me until they were on the table in front of me and I made the comment that the wrapping looked more like they were baby gifts than birthday gifts.... and I was right! ha ha.

After eating a huge piece of tuxedo chocalate cake, I got to the gifts. Baby gifts are so much fun to open... I am starting to understand why my friends with kids say they find themselves buying clothes for their kids more than themselves... it's because it is all so adorable! Our little princess is going to look so cute in all of her new outfits. She got socks and bibs, too! Even a few little rattles and toys... and I got a Boppy pillow, which I hear are wonderful!

This is such a fun time right now and I love that there are so many people in our lives that are just as excited as we are. It is such an amazing experience!
