Does the above definition (part 3) give you any hints about how I am feeling this week! ha ha. Our OB appointment yesterday was slightly disappointing considering I am no more dilated or effaced than I was last week. I just knew I would be dilated after all of the contractions I have been having, but I guess I was wrong. I got some good advice to skip the mall walking and start riding around on motorized vehicles.... I know a few people who claim four-wheelers and motorcycles have put them into labor, so it looks like I am going to have to bundle up this weekend for the great outdoors! If motorized toys don't do the trick, I don't mind giving mall walking a few more tries... it has been fun keeping up with the latest baby trends at Gymboree and Baby Gap! And it has been a great excuse to hang out with my girlfriends; Stacy and I had so much fun running around the mall yesterday... I think I would be perfectly happy being a mall rat and living there!

According to babycenter.com, Emmerson should weigh around 6.8 pounds and she's over 19 1/2 inches long (like a leek). She has a firm grasp, which I can't wait to feel when I hold her hand for the first time! Her organs have matured and are ready for life outside the womb. So hurry up and come already, little lady!!!!
